Please read this statement carefully before accessing Jbookings (JB). Your use of JB indicates your agreement to abide by the terms of this policy.

Information Collection
JB is the sole owner of the information collected on the site. JB may collect information from our users at several different points on the site - names and locational information, for example. We take every reasonable precaution to protect the information you provide.

Mailing Lists
JB may launch mailing lists, in order to provide subscribers with relevant information - news, offers, or weekly round-ups, for example. By default, users are signed up to the mailing list upon registering with the website. This information will be used in aggregate form only in order to assess general user interest in various internal and third party products and services, and your personal and contact information will not be passed to any other organisation.

Users signed up to the mailing list will receive regular emails from the site. Most of the time, these will be content from JB, but we may occasionally send out an email from a third party sponsor. This will be infrequent, and does not represent an endorsement by JB of any products advertised therein. It will clearly be marked as advertising. If you do not wish to receive emails from third party advertisers, please unsubscribe from the mailing list.

Cookies
The JB site does use cookies. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We may use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user's hard drive for an extended period of time. This privacy statement covers the use of cookies by JB only and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

Event Services Directory
The data provided by users of JB through use of the event services directory may be shared with our vendors. Information shared may include, inter alia, names, postcodes and email addresses. We provide a strict usage policy to our vendors. Vendors may only contact our users one time with relevant information and offers. Vendors who violate this policy will be removed from the directory.

Links
JB may contain links to other sites. Please be aware that JB is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by JB.

Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyse trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information. We may use a tracking utility that uses log files to analyse user movement.

Business Transitions
In the event JB goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of a portion of its assets, users' personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred.

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, JB may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our site.

You the user are responsible for your use of JB, for any content you post to JB, and for any consequences thereof. You submit information to the event calendar at your own risk. JB does not verify the information registered with the web site. If you believe that information registered on the event calendar is injurious or unlawful it is your responsibility to report it to JB at your earliest convenience.

Passwords
You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access JB and for any activities or actions under your password. Although JB does encrypt your passwords, you are encouraged to use “strong” passwords (passwords that use a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols) with your account. JB cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the above requirements.

JB Rights
All right, title, and interest in and to JB (excluding content provided by users) are and will remain the exclusive property of JB. JB is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United Kingdom and foreign countries. Nothing in these terms gives you a right to use the JB name or any of the JB trademarks, logos, domain names, and other distinctive brand features. Any feedback, comments, or suggestions you may provide regarding JB, or the JB service is entirely voluntary and we will be free to use such feedback, comments or suggestions as we see fit and without any obligation to you.

Notification of Changes
Whenever JB changes its privacy policy, we will post those changes to this statement, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
